New Orleans

About a week ago, I visited New Orleans for the first time. I had only two days in that magnetic city—and I doubt I’ll return. My first impressions live in these photographs, shot on a Sony A9 III with a 16–35mm GM. New Orleans feels unlike any other city in the U.S., especially at night—particularly on Bourbon Street, the beating heart of the old city, where every human vice and weakness converges: alcohol, strip shows, jazz in all its forms, smoke and psychedelics—every way to blur the mind. My photos are only a faint echo of what truly happens there.
