Dance Parade New York

This is New York.
Five days ago I went to Manhattan just to walk and photograph the city. Then I started noticing people in strange costumes getting ready somewhere downtown. I kept following and photographing them without really knowing what was happening, and only later realized I had walked straight into the Dance Parade.
All of these photos were taken in less than two hours — everything happening around and in between the moments.
