The Fourth of July: The Walk (Part I)

I went out on the Fourth of July planning to photograph the fireworks. After a couple of hours in the heat, I realized there was no way I’d make it to sunset, so I simply photographed everything that caught my eye on the walk from Grand Central through Times Square, Washington Square Park, the Oculus, and down to Battery Park.
